“Zach plays an essential role in our trial team,” said Burford Perry partner Brent Perry. “He has a knack for examining an issue from every angle and a great aptitude for crafting thoughtful arguments that win cases.”

Recently, Zach put those skills to work as a member of the trial team that obtained a $54 million judgment for their client in a shareholder derivative and breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit.

In his daily practice, Zach handles a range of commercial litigation matters, including disputes involving business partnership issues, commercial contracts, construction projects, and real estate investments.

Highly regarded for his thorough knowledge of the Texas Uniform Fraudulent Transfers Act (TUFTA), Zach addresses concerns that arise from this multi-layered legislation as well as those relating to liquidating, rehabilitating, and turnover receivers. Zach credits his rigorous legal training and engineering background with helping him fully understand the complexities of various statutes and the technical components of his clients’ businesses.

When not practicing law, Zach fosters his technical talents with woodworking and pursuing the computer sciences: He has built his own computer and dabbles in programming.
